Source mappings describe the source and target field, their types, transform rule and effective date for a service. Review a mapping with the operator before using it on live applications. Keep the case’s source reference after import so the original request can be located. For outbound work, inspect the operation key, attempt status and provider receipt before confirming delivery. A failed or unknown response goes to an assigned person for investigation through delivery and follow-up.
