What you can do
Run the work
A preparer at a financial organization needs to direct funds through an eligible banking counterparty. The preparer creates a draft instruction, selects the organization and counterparty, and records the amount and requested date. The owner stays visible as the instruction moves to review. The preparer checks that the counterparty belongs to the instruction’s organization before sending it for review. Debit and credit lines identify the financial accounts involved; the instruction’s amount alone cannot show that scope. The record number lets the approver and preparer refer to the same case when a supporting document is added or the requested date changes.
How the work is organized
- Own the draft. Treasury Preparer records the organization, counterparty, owner, requested amount and date.
- Define the accounts. Link debit and credit lines to the financial accounts involved and check their amounts.
- Request review. Attach support, identify the revision and hand the case to an independent approver.
What to agree during setup
Decide which organization owns each instruction and who may prepare it. Agree on how the counterparty eligibility note is checked before an instruction is sent for review. Set a convention for the subject and record number so an approver can find the same case in provider correspondence. Have Treasury Preparer create a draft and ask an Independent Treasury Approver to find the same record by number. Check organization access and the linked account lines before review. Decide who will correct an incomplete draft and how a revised case returns to the queue.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Open a draft with a recorded amount, then inspect its debit and credit account scope and supporting attachment. Have another team member confirm that the selected counterparty belongs to the intended organization. After review is requested, compare the revision the approver sees with the revision the preparer submitted. Ask the next person to find the parent case and explain its status from the linked records. If a receipt is unclear, compare its claimed effects with persisted records before closing the investigation.
What your team sees

Follow the work through
