How a Nutrition & Diet Planning App rollout works
Set up patient identity, clinical work and follow-up in a small pilot.
Set identity
Agree patient numbering, staff identities and assigned clinician conventions.
Set authority
Review clinical privileges, care-team assignments and consent purposes.
Run a visit
Enter a patient, food diary, restriction, encounter, observation and signed note.
Follow through
Assign a due task, enter a charge if needed and reconcile a patient payment through the clinic's practice.
Expand
Review errors and access before bringing in more patients and clinicians.
What the customer provides
Bring a small set of real visit types, consent wording and examples of food entry units, restriction substances and observation metrics. Name the person responsible for each role and the decision to sign a note or approve a charge. Provide the clinic’s billing and payment process if those records will be used. A pilot should include a returning patient and a correction so the team can see how context persists across visits.
Changing it afterwards
Review the effect of a changed consent purpose, new clinician or renamed food convention before using it across existing records. Rehearse the change with staff who enter and read the data. Keep roles, data model and connections together when updating the operating practice.
