Prepare the first operating cycle

Choose one active project with a named manager, client or contractor, programme dates and scope. Bring one package with tasks, assignees and estimates. Add current crew capacity, a due milestone, an open RFI and a submitted labour example. Decide who will set issue severity, review time approval results and review inspection evidence.

Walk from the active project into its package and task board. Check that task and timesheet references point to the same site. Open the exception queue with a milestone, issue and risk that have known owners.

Review before release

Set an issue to Open with severity and inspect the triage receipt. Try missing severity and a stale issue status. Submit positive hours to trigger approval, then try zero hours and a status changed before the workflow acts. Check the resulting timesheet, submittal review and receipt. Confirm that evidence links and review subject identifiers match their source records. Invite the pilot team with the agreed permissions after the first cycle is reconciled.
