How a Film Production PM rollout works

Set up a production, rehearse one package and then expand the operating scope.

  1. Identify the production

Create the organization, project and team member records the first operating cycle needs. Confirm codes, time zone, currency and the project contact.

  2. Prepare one package

Set a subject, owner, due date and budget hours. Add tasks and a shoot day linked to that package.

  3. Rehearse review

Attach evidence with the right visibility and agree who reviews the current revision and which record holds the decision. Follow the package status in the operations view.

  4. Expand carefully

Add more packages once the team agrees on ownership, task-hour entry, call sheet revision naming and exception handling.

What the customer provides

Provide the production company and project identities, people who own work and review it, a representative task plan, an example call sheet revision and the evidence required to accept a package. Decide how call sheets are sent externally and which system confirms external references.

Changing it afterwards

Use a new package revision when work scope changes. Keep accepted evidence with its original package revision. Rehearse the correction with a coordinator and the person chosen to review before applying it across more production work. See the data model for the record links involved.
