Engineering-led assembly teams
An assembly team may keep selling the same product while its design evidence changes. Keep product-linked documents and the reviewed engineering change visible alongside the resulting production work. Agree how the reviewed basis becomes usable instructions, then rehearse release and acceptance with the people who run the operating cycle.
How Product Lifecycle Mgmt (PLM) is set up for you
Shared product context
Product Engineer identifies the finished product and intended material or component before preparing a design submission. Check the item code and name against the source so similar labels cannot fragment the revision evidence or direct work to the wrong product.
Responsible review
Engineering Reviewer examines the submitted design and change evidence before approving the revision transition. Retrieve the actual deciding evidence when explaining the result. Configure preparing and deciding access with the team's ordinary accounts.
Operating readiness
Production Planner prepares work against Approved customer demand, an Available resource and feasible planned dates. Review the selected quantity and interval before release. An unavailable resource or inconsistent dates need resolution before the action can succeed.
Production and quality handoff
Operator submits an attributed interval with valid boundaries and nonnegative finite output. The resulting Pending batch reaches Quality Inspector for acceptance. Reconcile finished goods to the accepted-quantity evidence used by release.

Choose a product undergoing a documented design change and prepare a customer order the planner can reconcile. Run the change from Draft through Review and Approved to Implemented. Release feasible work, post an eligible component lot issue and record the production interval. Include a resource in Maintenance and a Held batch to test refusals.
Use reviewed evidence to explain the instructions production will use. Agree design-repository and receiving ownership before configuring any connection. Buyer reviews ordered and received quantities with Inventory Controller so expected arrivals and eligible stock remain understandable. Ask each operating participant to retrieve the same work-order identity and explain the next action. Resolve the handoff before extending the pilot to additional products.
