How a Production Dashboard rollout works

Start with a resource and product cycle the planner, operator and reviewer can reconcile.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

Production Planner and Quality Reviewer choose the resource, product and production day. Name the source owner for approved demand and stock. Agree any machine feed or alert channel as a connection to set up.

  2. Map identity and records

Link the acting user accounts with staff identities. Prepare product units, resource availability and daily capacity, approved demand, feasible work order intervals and opening stock by item, location and lot.

  3. Prepare the review screens

Set up the views and report definitions against role scope. Test the personal production-log view. Agree how the comparison selects effective target and actual evidence after a correction.

  4. Rehearse guarded work

Save a valid target and linked actual, release a feasible draft, post an eligible material issue, record a completed interval and approve an eligible Pending batch. Include insufficient free stock, overlapping work, duplicate posting, repeated log name and unauthorized reviewer action.

  5. Reconcile and open live work

Compare accepted evidence with the operating baseline. Check stock quantities, effective shift results and batch disposition after each action. Obtain operating acceptance and agree recovery ownership before expanding.

What the customer provides

  • Product and material identifiers, units and resource availability.
  • Approved demand references and planned work intervals with known conflicts.
  • Opening on-hand and reserved quantities by item, location and lot.
  • Staff-to-account mappings and the people responsible for planning, capture and quality decisions.
  • Target dates, shift naming rules and the meaning of planned versus run minutes.
  • Representative corrections, inspection evidence and required connection providers.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare changes for the domain owner’s review before applying them. Keep native editing within eligible drafts and assigned evidence. Active setup amendments need review, while posted quantities and reviewer decisions remain protected.

Target and shift corrections append attributed successor evidence. Preserve the earlier submission and verify that the effective record changes the comparison once. Rehearse the pilot’s accepted and rejected cases after any change to identity, reference resolution or comparison rules.
