What you can do
Establish the working scope
Organizations hold a name, code, time zone, currency and active marker. Team Members connect a named person and role to an organization and platform user. Counterparties hold a name, code, contact, address, eligibility note and organization link. These records provide the context an Operations Analyst needs before preparing an instruction or property cash flow snapshot.
A counterparty can be a broker, lender, operator or service provider. The eligibility note is a place to explain the team’s decision about that relationship. The instruction then identifies its actual counterparty, owner and organization. Reviewers can follow those references instead of relying on free text in the subject line.
How the work is organized
- Organization. App Administrator maintains the entity’s identifying code, time zone and currency.
- Membership. Team Members connects a platform user, operational role and organization for assigned work.
- Counterparty. The administrator keeps contact and eligibility information current before instructions use that party.
What to agree during setup
Choose the organization codes and decide how separate entities will be represented. Confirm the currency and time zone for each one before loading instructions. Add the team members who prepare, review or audit work, and verify each person’s organization. The user account and team membership both matter: an account alone does not explain the person’s operational assignment.
Agree a consistent counterparty code and the owner of eligibility updates. Check contacts and addresses with the organization that uses them. If a counterparty relationship changes, update its context while preserving past instruction links. Decide who can see shared attachments and who can see internal evidence, using the attachment visibility setting during review.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Set up an investment organization with its currency and time zone, then add an Operations Analyst and Independent Finance Reviewer in that scope. Create a counterparty with a contact and eligibility note. Prepare an instruction linked to all three. Check that the owner sees the assigned request and the reviewer sees the correct organization and counterparty context. Add an attachment marked Internal and another marked Shared, then test the intended access with an Auditor. Move the analyst to a different organization in a rehearsal and confirm that old instructions still point to the original operating entity.
