How a Recipe / Formulation Mgmt rollout works
Prepare the recipe and stock baseline, rehearse the actual roles and verify the first batch cycle before expanding use.
Agree the operating scope
Choose a familiar formulation, intended finished product and representative customer demand. Identify Production Planner, Production Operator and Quality Reviewer. Agree Admin's setup role, Manager's customer-demand procedure and the person who decides recipe review.
Prepare identities and units
Link staff to the correct accounts and map materials and trading parties. Agree recipe and product quantity units. Use a mixed-unit example to identify the conversion basis the planner needs before calculating ingredient amounts.
Load the opening records
Follow the migration order for demand, resources, production work and recipes. Reconcile stock by location and lot. Decide which historical consumption and output receipts already happened before activating current requests.
Configure operating views
Prepare screens and reports using the team's agreed record meanings. Rehearse customer-order approval and recipe submission with ordinary accounts, then inspect the reviewer handoff.
Run the guarded batch cycle
Test eligible production release, free-stock material posting and completed production capture. Quality Reviewer decides inspected output. Verify the exact receipt and completion result, then repeat the action and try Held, Rejected and unauthorized requests.
Expand with source owners
Resolve corrections and external stock or testing connections before widening operating scope. Keep the reconciled baseline and action results available for later changes.
What the customer provides
Provide material identities and units, recipe versions and ingredient declarations, current customer demand and resource availability. Supply reconciled location-and-lot stock, staff account links and the inspection evidence used for accepted output. Identify the people who resolve held batches, supply discrepancies and formulation changes.
Choose a new-work pilot or a reconciled in-flight baseline. Agree which earlier physical effects already happened and which current actions remain eligible. Inspect the evidence behind historical stock changes before enabling requests against that work.
Changing it afterwards
Use Proto to prepare changes for review before release. Test ordinary work and denied actions with actual role accounts. Keep quantity interpretation and allergen declarations consistent with their source owners, then rehearse downstream effects before changing submitted production evidence.
Use get started to prepare the pilot and pricing to review the platform usage policy.
