Systems to connect

  • CRM opportunity source. Connect the system that owns account names, opportunity amounts, stages and close dates. Preserve opportunity identity and owner mapping so a refresh does not appear as another deal.
  • Territory and quota planning. Connect the target source used by Sales Operations or import the agreed quota file. Match rep, period, measure and effective dates before using attainment.
  • Notification delivery. Configure the email or messaging channel used for submission reminders and manager alerts. Test the recipient, deadline timing and delivery outcome with the pilot accounts.
  • AI model service. Configure the model and authorized input signals used for close-likelihood scoring. Retain model identity, run timing and cited reasons with each recommendation.
  • Financial reconciliation. Connect the source Finance Analyst uses to reconcile closed-won commercial outcomes with financial reporting. Agree timing and currency treatment before comparing a forecast amount with accounting results.

How connections are governed

Sales Operations agrees record ownership and update direction with each source owner. Admin checks user mappings and access. Rehearse repeated imports and late updates against the existing period records, and inspect the effect of a changed close date. Configure notification delivery separately from reminder generation so the team can distinguish a prepared message from a delivered one. See Implementation for the first operating-cycle checks.
