  • Customer communication channel
  • Consent and supporting documents
  • Accounting system

Systems to connect

  • Payment provider. Configure the source of authorization, capture, refund and void events. Agree how provider event identities map to bookings, how evidence is verified and who investigates missing or conflicting results.
  • Customer communication channel. Set up the handoff used to confirm appointment details and receive change requests. Agree how relevant customer evidence is attached to the booking before staff act on it.
  • Consent and supporting documents. Define how the salon receives the material required by its service policy. Keep the relevant attachment and intended visibility with the booking so the responsible person can review it.
  • Accounting system. If payment outcomes are sent to accounting, agree a separate reconciled handoff from verified provider evidence. Keep quoted amounts distinct from actual provider events.

How connections are governed

Assign an owner to each connection and document the identity used to relate its evidence to a booking. Test repeated event delivery, an incorrect parent booking and an unverified result before using the connection for routine confirmation.

A local booking state does not establish an external payment effect. Use the provider reference and verified event evidence when discussing the result. Reconciliation checks the claimed outcome; it does not blindly repeat an external operation.

Agree access to attachments and provider material, including direct file links. Keep private credentials outside booking evidence and source content. Use payment and outcome reconciliation to rehearse the unresolved-result path before expanding the connection’s scope.
