Who it's for

School districts

A district needs a clear view of the journey it owns, the transport partner serving it and the person accountable for daily dispatch. School Bus Tracking places those links on the run and keeps stop observations, student boarding counts and supervisor decisions nearby. The district can review the operational record without treating a boarding count as a student roster.

How School Bus Tracking is set up for you

Daily dispatch

A Dispatcher prepares each run with its organization, partner and promised delivery time, then inspects its ordered stops. The run moves through its recorded operating states as observations arrive.

Contracted service

The transport partner record identifies the provider selected for the run. Driver and vehicle commitments belong to the assignment and can be checked against eligibility and readiness.

Boarding review

The Transport Supervisor examines a submitted boarding's route, authorized stop, time and passenger count beside its recorded status and decision time.

Exception handling

Failed operation receipts and changed run revisions remain visible for reconciliation, rather than disappearing into a final status label.

Choose one district, one contracted operator and a representative morning route. Enter its run number, owner, partner and promise. Inspect its ordered stops and driver and vehicle interval, then record a boarding submission. Ask the Transport Supervisor to inspect the boarding and any review decision for the run revision. Complete the run with an actual delivery time and compare it with the promise.

Agree the district's time zone, who supplies boarding observations and how changed stop times are explained. Keep student identity in the designated student system. If a location or fleet feed is needed, define its ownership and identifiers as a separate connection, then compare imported observations with the run record before making decisions.
