Get Chemicals SCM running in four steps.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure SCM for Chemicals for your business. Identify the operating organization, Inventory Coordinator and people responsible for chemical compatibility and independent inventory review. Have Admin check active membership and master-data ownership.

Bring a known chemical item, its base unit, lot details and intended storage location. Confirm the source SDS revision and inspection material for the request. Agree the opening stock position and the meaning of the location references used by the pilot operation.

Prepare the request and compatibility submission, then use separate accounts for the responsible review decisions. Inspect the resulting posted movement and receipt. Follow an approved reservation through its applicable execution path and confirm how it changes the recorded claim and stock effect.

Repeat the operation with a unit mismatch, an expired or quarantined lot and a stale request revision. Test a retry using the same operation identity and a correction beyond the remaining reversible scope. Check that unauthorized users cannot post or alter protected stock effects.

Reconcile the valid result and an intentionally mismatched receipt before adding more items or locations. Use implementation to expand the pilot and the data model to preserve the source references behind each operating handoff.
