Who it's for

Multi-organization operators

An operator may run drop-ship orders for several organizations. Each organization has its own code, time zone and currency, while customers and team members belong to an organization. Customer orders and supplier routes carry organization references so the team can read each decision in the correct operating context.

How Dropshipping SCM is set up for you

Organization identity

Use stable codes for customer and operating organization records.

Review ownership

Check the order owner, route organization and reviewer before recording a decision.

Comparable evidence

Keep order amounts and provider payment events in their recorded units and references when reviewing a cross-organization queue.

An operator may run drop-ship orders for several organizations. Each organization has its own code, time zone and currency, while customers and team members belong to an organization. Customer orders and supplier routes carry organization references so the team can read each decision in the correct operating context.

Pilot one organization first. Load its customers, products and active team members, then run an order through supplier review and a partial shipment. Add another organization only after staff can explain how order access, provider references and supplier routes remain separated. Test an account assigned to the first organization against an order from the second. Review the time zone used for promised dates and dated events before sharing exception reports across organizations.

When reviewing across organizations, keep each order, customer and route in its original operating scope. A shared exception meeting can compare the work, but staff should open the source order before changing anything. Keep the order owner visible during that review. Include a case where the same SKU appears in both organizations and confirm that the customer and staff references still point to the intended organization.
