What you can do

Operations overview in daily work

Operations Overview is the app’s control tower for on-hand, available, review and failure attention across authorized stores. The team can move from an exception to its request, proposal and operation evidence. A request approaching its required date calls for a different response than a failed guarded action.

Operations Overview brings authorized store work into one place. Start with the request and its required date, then inspect the linked store entry and any receipt requiring attention. On-hand and available figures prompt the next check; the posted movement remains the record of a stock change. This keeps a failed action separate from an approved request.

How the work is organized

  • Find the exception. Inventory Coordinator opens a store or request needing review, then checks item, location and required date.
  • Route the decision. Inventory Reviewer reads the current revision and any linked decision or Submitted store entry.
  • Confirm the outcome. Match a receipt with its parent request and any posted movement before closing the follow-up.

What to agree during setup

Agree which store and organization each coordinator may operate, how often the team checks work due, and who follows up on a needs review or Failed receipt. For a store with an urgent target, compare the linked request status with the proposal and reservation state before asking for stock movement.

Inventory Coordinator follows due and failed work. Inventory Reviewer owns revision decisions and receipt reconciliation. App Administrator keeps the store and item context current. Auditor reads authorized evidence.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Use the request and proposal lists to separate work still in Draft from work in Review or Submitted. The reviewer follows decisions and receipts; the coordinator follows held stock and posted effects. The auditor can read the evidence trail for an authorized case without changing it.

For a store with an urgent target, open the linked request and compare its required date with the store entry. If a receipt shows needs review, inspect the operation key and expected revision before repeating the action. Check whether a posted movement already changed stock. Record a named follow-up owner so the next shift can distinguish a pending investigation from completed work.
