- Review-led put-away
Review-led put-away
A warehouse team that requires an independent decision before put-away can submit a plan tied to the request revision. Stock requests are the common case record. A location, item and owner connect the proposed work to the team that will carry it out. Decisions and operation receipts make later inspection possible without reconstructing the story from separate messages.
How Warehousing SCM is set up for you
Operating scope
Name the coordinator and a distinct reviewer. Define the zone and handling-class vocabulary. Attach the evidence the reviewer needs to decide.
Request ownership
Record the request number, subject, due date and owner before another person reviews the work.
Decision trail
Keep the plan, reviewer decision and evidence linked to the parent request so a change of shift does not hide the reason for a choice.

Decisions and operation receipts make later inspection possible without reconstructing the story from separate messages.
Prepare a request and submitted plan for one destination. Approve an eligible revision, then inspect its decision and operation receipt. Rehearse a rejection with a reason and a changed revision. Use the Operations Overview to inspect the current workload and exceptions, then open the underlying records for the actual case. Agree how the team names locations and who may change item or membership setup. A pilot should cover one normal decision and one correction so everyone sees where the original record remains available.
When the pilot ends, compare each request with its linked plan, decision, attachment and stock effect where applicable. Keep the names used by operators aligned with the physical labels they see at a location. The [implementation guide](/scm-for-warehousing/implementation) gives a sequence for bringing these records into use.
