Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose one active item with a clear base unit and a known storage location. If the item is lot tracked, use a lot with a recorded expiry and release state. Create a dated request, attach the supporting instruction and ask a separate reviewer to decide its current revision. Record a scan with a tag and device event identity, then compare it with any reservation and posted movement.
Review before release
Check that the request, scan, decision, movement and operation outcome all refer to the intended physical work. Rehearse a repeated scan, an unknown tag and a correction with a linked compensating movement. Read implementation and roles before expanding beyond the first site.
