What you can do

Inspect the visible revision

A submitted replenishment request needs careful inspection. Order Reviewer reads the signal’s current scope and related order. Review Decisions retains recorded choices, source revisions, dates, reasons, operation keys and reviewers against the parent customer order. The coordinator can compare an existing reason with the request before changing its scope.

The same decision record structure can retain reviews associated with order work and fulfillment evidence. Its parent link is the customer order. Before staff rely on a decision, they should check that its source revision matches the request they are acting on. A decision on an earlier revision should not be treated as authorization for changed units or a changed bin.

How the work is organized

  • Submitted scope. The status board shows signals waiting for inspection.
  • Decision record. Existing records retain the named reviewer, reason and source revision.
  • Operation trail. Receipts show the result of an action using a stable operation key.

A completed operation receipt documents the submission result. It does not authorize replenishment or describe a reviewer’s judgment. If a signal shows Approved on the board, staff should inspect the corresponding decision and source revision before relying on it.

What to agree during setup

Define who can review each organization and how an independent reviewer is selected. Agree how a decision will be authorized and recorded before using approvals to release work. Decide how the coordinator receives the outcome and whether a returned request needs correction or a new signal. Keep reasons concrete enough to explain a rejected quantity, a bin mismatch or an outdated revision.

Decide how to handle a failed operation separately from a rejected business request. A failed receipt records a technical or eligibility outcome. Operations Overview helps staff prioritize it, but staff must inspect the actual reason and linked order before acting.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Use a submitted signal whose requested units are too high for its order context. Let the reviewer compare the order line and signal revision. Check any existing decision against that revision before the coordinator corrects the request using the agreed procedure. The Auditor should read the review history without editing it.

Repeat with a signal whose draft changed after the reviewer opened it. The team should compare the stored source revision with the current signal before acting on an earlier decision. Rehearsing this case helps staff distinguish an earlier decision from the current request.

What your team sees

  • Review Decisions — Recorded choices retain their reviewer, source revision and reason.
  • Operations Overview — Pending reviews and failed operations lead staff to the parent order.
