How a SCM with Landed Cost Calculation rollout works

Set up organization scope, purchasing review and landed charge evidence.

  1. Set scope

Choose the first organization, supplier group and buying team. Confirm membership and decision ownership.

  2. Prepare records

Bring in active suppliers and a small set of purchase requests with lines, amounts and required dates.

  3. Rehearse decisions

Have a Buyer submit a request and a distinct Purchasing Approver decide on the exact revision.

  4. Follow the handoff

Check an order reference, accepted quantities, invoice reference and operation receipt.

  5. Review landed cost

Prepare a shipment allocation and test its approval and reconciliation path.

What the customer provides

Provide entity and supplier identifiers, buyer and approver assignments, ordinary purchase examples, shipment charges and the rule used to allocate them. Name the owner of supplier order delivery, invoice payment and inventory receipt in the connected systems. Include one case that needs correction so the team can practice exception review.

Changing it afterwards

Recheck membership and supplier eligibility when a team or counterparty changes. A revised purchase request needs a decision on its new revision. Keep earlier decisions and operation receipts as evidence, and use a reviewed correction for effects already executed. See roles and data model.
