Get Shop Floor Control running in four steps.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Shop Floor Control for your business. Name the people responsible for production planning, operator capture and quality release. Choose a familiar product and station for the pilot so the team can judge the result against actual work.

Bring the customer order, item units, material lot and starting stock with reservations. Link the operator’s personnel record to their account. Agree the production window and resource readiness, then prepare a Draft work order that the planner can release once its prerequisites are satisfied.

Run the assignment, material issue and production interval with the pilot team. Record good and scrap quantities separately and carry the completed output into the reviewer’s batch decision. Use implementation to agree correction ownership and any system connections.

Check the rejected cases as carefully as the successful run. An unapproved order or unavailable machine must stop release; an invalid interval or insufficient free stock must stop its posting. Repeat the successful material and output actions and reconcile their stock effects. Confirm the reviewer can make the acceptance decision and the planner can explain any remaining work before extending use to the next product or station.
