Connections to Configure

Agree meter identity, quality vocabulary and source references before connecting acquisition and operational systems.

  • Smart Meter Data Platform
  • AMI and meter-data acquisition
  • Meter master data
  • Incident and field systems
  • Evidence storage
  • Downstream billing or analytics

Systems to connect

  • AMI and meter-data acquisition. Configure the incoming meter identity, interval-end interpretation, energy value and original quality designation. Agree how duplicate source intervals are recognized and how evidence remains traceable after acceptance.
  • Meter master data. Resolve source meter labels through the authoritative register used by the organization. Keep that identity convention consistent when preparing readings or investigating a duplicate.
  • Incident and field systems. Configure the external incident identity and authorized restoration confirmation. Retain actual reported and restoration times, affected-scope evidence and the references needed for independent review.
  • Evidence storage. Agree the permitted audience for Internal and Shared files and test access to the intended source material. Retain useful titles and evidence types under the correct service case.
  • Downstream billing or analytics. Configure any transfer of accepted data separately. Preserve quality distinctions and record the receiving system’s actual result. Agree how reviewed corrections are represented without silently replacing accepted history.

How connections are governed

App Administrator manages organization and membership configuration. Utility Coordinator prepares assigned work, while Authorized Utility Supervisor retains independent decision responsibility. Keep private credentials in the customer’s authorized setup process and restrict transfers to the intended organization and records.

Rehearse a duplicate source interval, an unrecognized quality flag and a field result covering only part of the case scope. Inspect existing action receipts before repeating work. Read-first reconciliation compares linked local effects and never re-executes an external action; confirm outside outcomes through the responsible system. Use correction and reconciliation to agree that follow-up.
