What you can do
Keep each drop attached to an owned opportunity
Shoppable Post Command groups the live opportunity pipeline by stage and shows open post value by stage. Partner Manager uses the expected close date and next step to decide which account needs a conversation. Creator Coordinator uses the overdue follow-up queue to find creator work that has slipped. An opportunity carries the partner account, an optional primary contact, its owner and the expected value. Those links let the team discuss one drop without copying the same deal into separate trackers.
Partner Manager qualifies the opportunity before a proposal is submitted. The qualification workflow logs an activity, changes the stage to Qualified and writes an operation receipt. Proposal submission records an email activity, changes the stage to Proposal and writes another receipt. Negotiation remains a stage the team can use for active partner discussion. Close Outcome records Won or Lost from the supplied outcome and reason, with a further receipt.
How the work is organized
- Named owner. Partner Manager owns the opportunity and close decision. Creator Coordinator follows the related creator work. Sales Operations checks exceptions in the receipt trail.
- Partner record. Keep the counterparty account, optional primary contact and owner on the opportunity.
- Stage evidence. Compare qualification and proposal activities with their receipts before treating a stage change as complete.
What to agree during setup
Agree when a post or drop becomes a new opportunity, who owns it, and how expected value is estimated. Keep the creator follow-up activity linked to the same opportunity, with a due date that can put it in the command page queue. Choose the partner account and primary contact before the first qualification. Decide how the team uses the next step and expected close date, especially when a creator follow-up has a separate due date. Confirm who may submit a proposal and who may close a deal.
Check the handoff on an actual case
A partner asks for a creator-led product drop next month. The Partner Manager opens a New opportunity, connects the partner account, names the owner and sets a close date. A call confirms interest; the manager qualifies the opportunity. The proposal email is logged and the stage becomes Proposal. Creator Coordinator can follow the related drop work in the command page and create a dated activity. At close, the manager records Won or Lost and checks the corresponding receipt.
