How a Spa & Wellness Center rollout works

Start with one week of the treatment schedule the front desk and manager can reconcile.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The scope is treatments, sessions, bookings, memberships, packages, check-in, payments and qualifications. Payments, online booking, gift cards and messaging remain connected. The spa sets its policies; Proto prepares configuration for review.

  2. Map the source data

Bring the treatment menu, therapists and qualifications, members with plans and package balances.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Pilot one week of the schedule. Confirm bookings, check guests in and confirm payments.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

Overbook a session and a therapist. Check in a cancelled booking. Use a package beyond its sessions. Approve a refund.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare members, package balances and payments with the source. Obtain the Spa Manager's acceptance before opening online booking.

What the customer provides

  • The treatment menu with durations, capacities and prices.
  • Therapists with their qualifications.
  • Members, plans and package balances.
  • Booking, cancellation and refund policies.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare changes on a branch. Review changed fields, permissions and reports with the Spa Manager. Replay the pilot’s exception cases before release.
