How a Tattoo Studio Management rollout works
Start with one studio and one month of appointments your coordinator, supervisor and manager can reconcile together.
Agree the operating boundary
The app runs stations, appointments, consent clearance, forms and aftercare files, deposits, cancellations and receipts. Portfolios, online booking, payment processing, messaging and accounting remain connected systems. Your supervisor clears consent; Proto prepares information and configuration for review.
Map the source data
Gather stations, artists and staff, your age and consent policy, deposit and cancellation rules, and upcoming appointments.
Configure a bounded pilot
Pilot one studio for one month. Run every appointment through hold, clearance, deposit and session.
Rehearse the exceptions
A double-booked station must be refused. A coordinator must not clear their own packet. An appointment must not be confirmed without verified payment. A no-show must not be recorded before the threshold.
Reconcile and release
Compare appointments and deposits with your calendar and provider statement. Obtain sign-off from the studio owner, keep an export of the source and agree the rollback window before cutover.
What the customer provides
- Studios, stations and chairs with their eligibility.
- Artists, coordinators and supervisors with their user emails.
- The studio’s age and consent policy, deposit amounts and cancellation windows.
- Upcoming appointments and deposits already taken.
Changing it afterwards
Use Proto to prepare changes on a branch. Review the changed fields, affected permissions, import mappings and reports with their owners. Replay the pilot’s exception cases before release. Past clearances keep the revision they were made on.
