Integrations and source ownership

Set up fleet and workshop connections with clear ownership of identity, physical outcomes and evidence.

  • Tire Management
  • Fleet register
  • Driver eligibility authority
  • Workshop system
  • Transport operations
  • Accounting platform

Systems to connect

  • Fleet register. Configure a connection if another system owns vehicle identity, equipment details or readiness information. Map the external fleet reference to the correct vehicle and agree who resolves conflicting changes.
  • Driver eligibility authority. Agree how the recorded eligibility expiry and authority reference are obtained. Dispatcher and Fleet Coordinator need a confirmed source before relying on them for an assignment.
  • Workshop system. Connect the workshop’s maintenance confirmation when work is performed outside the operating team. Retain its reference with the local evidence and reconcile the actual tire and action before completing the inspection.
  • Transport operations. Configure a source for pickup, stop and delivery events if those facts are collected elsewhere. Preserve the original delivery promise and use stable event identities when updates are repeated.
  • Accounting platform. Agree a separate handoff for financial processing when required. The load’s freight amount and delivery evidence can provide context; financial acceptance remains with the designated accounting system.

How connections are governed

Each connection needs an agreed record owner, identity mapping, permitted action and retry policy. Admin manages access with the responsible operational owner. Keep credentials in the approved secret store and give each connection only the access needed for its agreed task.

Test a duplicate event, a changed revision and a timeout after work may already have happened. A failed local result requires investigation before a repeat request. Keep the original evidence and external confirmation reference so Operations Analyst can explain the outcome. Availability depends on the provider’s access and configuration.

Rehearse exception reconciliation before enabling recurring exchanges.
