Systems to connect

  • Booking channels and partners. Bring bookings in as enquiries with their source identity so repeats are rejected.

  • Payments. Bring deposit and payment confirmations in to support reserving and confirming bookings.

  • Accounting. Send invoiced trip charges to your accounting system.

  • Driver devices. Send stop times and completion evidence from the driver’s phone.

How connections are governed

Each connection needs an agreed source of truth, a field mapping, an event identifier and a retry policy. Keep credentials in the approved secret store with the smallest scope that works. A repeated delivery must not create a second booking or evidence record. Rejected records wait with their identifier and a visible reason.

Reconcile bookings with each channel daily during the pilot. Test a duplicate booking, a failed payment and a revoked credential before turning on schedules. Availability depends on each provider’s interface, commercial access and configuration.

Use the implementation plan to agree integration acceptance criteria.
