What you can do
Fund the loan exactly as approved
For pre-shipment or import loans, the Credit Officer opens a loan account from the approved application. The account records the account number, approved principal, principal disbursed, annual rate, term, the provider’s account ID and a status of Approved, Active, Delinquent or Closed.
The disbursement is submitted to the provider under a stable operation key and recorded only when the provider’s outcome is verified, with its amount, date and provider event ID. The repayment schedule is generated from the approved terms as numbered installments, each with a due date, principal, interest and fee due and a version number.
How the work is organized
- Terms come from the approval. Principal, rate and term on the account match what the Credit Approver approved.
- Verified disbursements only. A disbursement appears only once the provider confirms the money moved, and a retry never sends it twice.
- Versioned schedules. Every schedule carries a version, so later changes add a new version and keep the old one.
What to agree during setup
Agree the amortization rules for each product and how fees are charged. Decide who submits disbursements and how provider confirmations arrive. Agree when a loan becomes Delinquent and who is told.
Check the handoff on an actual case
An exporter’s $1,200,000 pre-shipment loan is approved at 9 percent for 12 months. The Credit Officer opens the loan account from those terms and generates a schedule of twelve monthly installments, version 1. She submits the disbursement; the provider’s connection times out. The officer does not resend. The provider’s confirmation arrives later with its event ID, the disbursement is recorded, principal disbursed shows $1,200,000 and the account becomes Active.
