What you can do
Check what the delivery confirmation actually confirms
A signature belongs to a particular delivery. Evidence Reviewer needs the load, delivery stop and receiving details together before accepting the confirmation. The load must be Delivered, and the linked stop must be a Completed delivery stop belonging to that same load. A signature attached to another stop cannot establish the outcome of the current delivery.
The delivery record carries its delivered time, receiver and signature reference. Attachments can retain the supporting document or image, with an organization and related-record reference. Review the operational receipt alongside that evidence so a later question can be traced back to the source confirmation and load revision.
How the work is organized
- Capture the confirmation. Link the delivery record to its load and stop. Record the delivered time, receiver and signature reference together so the reviewer can locate the evidence without guessing which document applies.
- Verify the context. Check that the delivery stop belongs to the same delivered load and has completed its work. Keep the operating organization available with the load so the outcome remains associated with the responsible company.
- Investigate disputed evidence. Blocked checks mark the confirmation Disputed and escalate a review decision. Evidence Reviewer follows the reason back to the source, coordinates corrections and checks the resulting outcome before treating the case as resolved.
What to agree during setup
Agree who supplies the receiving evidence and which signature reference the team will retain. Decide how attachments are named and how staff associate them with the correct confirmation. A partner’s document link needs to remain accessible to the authorized reviewer after the original message has left the dispatch inbox.
Rehearse delivery checks with an incomplete signature, an unfinished delivery stop and a stop from another load. Include a repeated verification attempt against an already verified receipt. Confirm the team’s correction procedure before release, including how the original disputed case remains understandable after the supporting evidence is repaired.
Check the handoff on an actual case
The receiver signs for load L-410 at its final delivery stop. Dispatcher records the load as Delivered and the stop as Completed. Evidence Reviewer checks that the confirmation carries the actual delivered time, receiver name and signature reference. The linked stop belongs to L-410 and its type is Delivery, so the record has the context needed for verification.
Now copy the case with a stop belonging to L-411. Even if that stop is completed and a signature exists, the mismatch needs investigation. Finally, repeat the valid case’s verification request and inspect the existing receipt for the same confirmation, load number and load revision. The team should reconcile the prior outcome before accepting another completion result.
What your team sees
- Delivery evidence review — Captured and disputed confirmations with their load, stop and receiving evidence.
