Create your account
Click Get started and use Proto to configure Accounting with GST/Tax. Choose the organization and current tax period for the pilot. Invite Admin and Controller first to agree access and responsibilities, then bring in the operators who will prepare bills, invoices and payments.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Bring the chart of accounts, active counterparties and source documents. AP Specialist prepares a vendor bill with its recorded input tax credit. AR Specialist prepares a customer invoice with its recorded output tax. Treasury Analyst follows a scheduled payment through release and bank evidence. Staff Accountant compares the journal totals and GST position with those documents.
Include a bill correction, a partial payment and a failed action. Check the resulting references with the person who will investigate exceptions. Agree external delivery and bank handoffs through the integration setup.
Review before release
Controller reviews the bill decision and period conclusion. Admin checks permissions with ordinary operator accounts and an External Auditor account. Reconcile the outstanding balances and confirm that each reviewer can open the required evidence. Expand the operating scope after the team has completed that rehearsal and resolved the differences.
