What you can do

Connect the arrival to the ground movement

Front Desk Agent captures a flight turn for the selected trip. The flight number, scheduled arrival and passenger count let the ground team understand which arrival the trip supports. The linked trip provides the customer and vehicle context needed for the next operating decision.

An arrival may support a passenger transfer whose vehicle has already been planned. The agent checks the flight number and arrival expectation against that transfer before saving the turn. A recognizable flight number helps the team discuss the work, while the actual trip reference determines where the arrival information appears during review.

How the work is organized

  • Arrival details. Record the flight number and scheduled arrival from the team’s agreed source. Keep the passenger count meaningful for the ground service being coordinated. When the source changes, review the corresponding trip window with Property Manager before the shift relies on the earlier plan.
  • Trip context. Select the trip that the flight turn supports. Open its customer and vehicle details before submitting the record. This check matters when a carrier has similar arrivals or the team operates several ground movements around the same arrival period.
  • Evidence review. Submit the captured turn through the specialty review route. Operations Reviewer examines the attributed evidence and the linked operating context. The handoff should leave Front Desk Agent and Property Manager looking at the same saved turn when they return to the trip detail.

What to agree during setup

Choose who supplies the scheduled arrival and who resolves a disputed flight number. If flight information will come from an airline or airport source, configure that connection with an agreed mapping and update policy. Establish which staff member may submit a turn and which reviewer receives it. Confirm how the passenger count will be compared with the trip request when the figures differ.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Take a planned terminal transfer and enter its flight number, scheduled arrival and expected passenger count. Front Desk Agent opens the linked trip before submission and confirms that its customer and vehicle describe the intended transfer. Operations Reviewer then follows the submitted evidence back to that trip and checks the saved values.

Rehearse an arrival change while the vehicle already has a later commitment. Property Manager reviews the revised ground window before promising that resource. The scheduled arrival remains a planning input throughout this exercise. During the shift handoff, ask the next agent to identify the supported trip from the flight turn alone and explain which arrival expectation the planner used.

What your team sees

  • Flight arrivals through today — Review captured arrivals through the current day and open their linked trips.
  • Trip operating schedule — Compare the ground transport window with the flight arrival being discussed.

Follow the work through

Follow flight and gate review. Use integrations to agree an arrival source and implementation to prepare the pilot.
