How an Attendance Management rollout works
Start with one employee group and pay period, then widen the operating scope.
Agree ownership
Name the HR owner, timesheet and leave approvers, payroll preparer and payroll reviewer.
Load reference records
Set up departments, positions, locations, people, leave types and payroll calendars with effective dates.
Run a sample week
Enter daily hours, submit the weekly header, and decide an ordinary and a corrected case.
Run a leave case
Submit a dated request, review the balance, record a decision and inspect the balance position.
Rehearse payroll
Prepare a test period using approved inputs and compare run totals with statement detail before approval.
Extend access
Invite the wider team after role access, correction paths and reporting questions have been checked.
What the customer provides
Provide the active employee register, department and manager assignments, pay calendars and cutoffs, leave rules and balances, and the owner of each approval. Choose a sample employee whose week includes an exception such as overtime or leave. Payroll Admin also needs the expected period and statement amounts for reconciliation.
Changing it afterwards
Record the effective date and owner of a policy or employee change. Rehearse it against a prior and future period before putting it into use. The data model maps the affected records and roles identifies who reviews the change.
