Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Automated Storage (AS/RS) for your business. Identify the operating organization, its App Administrator and the Inventory Clerk and Inventory Supervisor who will rehearse the first cycle. Choose locations they can inspect together.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Bring an item with an agreed base unit, a lot balance and any existing held reservations. Include an induction plan and a handling unit with a clear custody owner. Prepare a request with a required date and quantity the supervisor can review.
Agree how the device and controller event references will be supplied through the separately configured connection. Use implementation to establish reference records and operating permissions before executing stock actions. Review the data model when importing existing records.
Review before release
Test a reservation shortfall, a robot task reviewed by someone other than its creator and an execution retry that does not duplicate the stock effect. Reconcile a matching quantity and a mismatch, then inspect a compensating reversal with the Auditor.
Assign responsibility for any remaining receipt or review exception. Review roles and pricing before widening access or adding another connection.
