Connections to configure

Agree equipment references and stock-effect ownership before connecting controllers or warehouse systems.

  • Automated Storage (AS/RS)
  • Robot controller
  • Warehouse or ERP system
  • Arrival planning system
  • Document system

Systems to connect

  • Robot controller. Configure the customer’s controller connection separately. Map device references, decide how event references are supplied and agree what evidence establishes the physical result. Equipment safety and interlocks remain with the responsible controller environment.
  • Warehouse or ERP system. Agree item identifiers, location references and base units before exchanging stock requests. Decide which system owns each posted quantity effect so the same movement is not applied twice.
  • Arrival planning system. If load plans come from another system, map transfer identity, carrier and induction location. Preserve the distinction between the planned slot time and recorded arrival context.
  • Document system. Agree how an authorized reviewer opens document, manifest or certificate links attached to a request. Check file access independently of visibility of the attachment record.

How connections are governed

App Administrator agrees organization and membership context with the connection owner. Inventory Supervisor defines the quantity and review rules, while Inventory Clerk rehearses the actual handoff using an ordinary stock request.

Use stable operation identities for repeated actions and compare current revisions at review. Establish who investigates a failed receipt, who checks the controller event and how the matching movement is traced. A returned response or recognizable event reference must be interpreted against the agreed evidence of its effect.

Rehearse a delayed response, an equivalent retry and a conflicting or stale request before release. Review implementation and stock execution and verification with the people responsible for both sides of the connection.
