Get Batch Manufacturing running in four steps.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Batch Manufacturing for your business. Describe the product you make, the resource used and the people responsible for production and quality. Choose a familiar operating cycle for the first configuration.

Bring the customer order, product unit and planned quantity for the pilot. Identify the material lots and opening balances, including their locations. Planner prepares the work order, and Quality Reviewer creates its Pending batch. Operator posts the material issue and captures input evidence and production intervals. Quality Reviewer examines the batch outputs before accepted release.

• Prepare item and party identities, resource availability and planned dates.
• Map the pilot operators to their user identities and agree access with Admin.
• Bring a batch example with good, rework and scrap quantities in a stated unit.
• Agree how the team finds any external laboratory results needed for inspection.

Reconcile the posted material withdrawal with the changed inventory balance. Capture the input evidence and confirm that it belongs to the intended batch. Save a valid production interval and check its quality-review handoff. Quality Reviewer then approves the inspected eligible output and checks the finished inventory receipt, Released batch and Completed work order together.

Repeat the material posting and accepted-output request to verify their inventory effects happen once. Try an invalid batch reference and an Operator attempting quality release. Resolve those cases before expanding to further products or resources.
