Bring the right records to the next review

Use Proto to prepare model work and inspect the recorded handoffs.

It can

  • Process Owner: Find a model's current revision, owner and linked scenario before a review meeting.
  • Model Designer: List pending node outcomes and source references for a draft revision.
  • Independent Reviewer: Gather a validation run, its step trace and evidence reference for the exact source revision.
  • Evidence Steward: Summarize assigned verification follow-ups with due dates and linked models.

Stays with a person

  • The agent can organize records and prepare a case for review.
  • A named Independent Reviewer decides whether a revision or result is approved.
  • A person must verify the external receipt and determine whether compensation resolved the effect.
  • Access follows the roles your team configures.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Name the process

Choose one operating organization, Process Owner and Model Designer. Define the model’s purpose and source references.

  2. Set the assumption basis

Create the scenario, effective dates, policy reference and any source mappings needed for the pilot.

  3. Map and validate

Record the ordered nodes, validate a draft revision and inspect the run and pending review decision.

  4. Review and simulate

Have an Independent Reviewer decide on the exact revision. Run the reviewed model and verify each external effect and receipt.

  5. Rehearse correction

Keep an executed revision, record a compensating step and assign the verification follow-up before expanding the scope.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Business Process Modeler.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Business Process Modeler for your business. Begin with one process, one scenario and a revision your team can validate and review.

What does a process model contain?

A model names the work, owner, organization, scenario and revision. Its linked nodes hold the ordered observations.

How are simulation assumptions recorded?

A scenario carries an organization, effective dates and policy reference. A run records the revision used with its assumption basis.

Who decides whether a revision is ready?

The Process Owner prepares it for validation. The Independent Reviewer records a decision against the exact revision before simulation proceeds.

What happens during validation?

The workflow records a durable run and step trace, marks the model Validated and raises a pending independent review decision.

How do I inspect a simulation result?

Open the run, its numbered steps, result reference and external receipt evidence. Compare it with the source model revision and linked scenario.

What if an external result is uncertain?

Investigate the attempt and provider reference. The team can keep a run for reconciliation until its effect is understood.

Can a completed result be corrected?

Yes. The correction flow retains the earlier revision, records a correction run and compensating step, creates a successor and assigns verification work.

What should we review before publication?

Check the revision, scenario, node outcomes, simulation result, receipt evidence and independent decision. Keep the prior history available for later comparison.
