AI agent

Ask Proto about the next care action

Use an assistant to prepare records and help the team inspect care work.

It can

  • Clinical Coordinator: Ask for visits waiting for review or household actions due soon.
  • Licensed Clinician: Ask for assigned visits and draft notes that need attention.
  • Clinical Governance Administrator: Ask for pending privilege verifications and active care assignments.
  • Clinical Reviewer: Ask for encounter evidence linked to a visit before checking the care record.

Stays with a person

  • A person must confirm patient identity, sign clinical documentation, verify a privilege and update an encounter after reviewing its evidence.
  • The assistant should show the linked record and owner so the team can inspect the source.
  • It should not infer consent from a general household label when a purpose-specific consent record must be checked.
  • Usage depends on the actions your team runs and the connections you configure.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree operating rules

Define patient numbers, visit types, consent purposes, note types and observation units with the clinical team.

  2. Set up people and access

Link people to users, check role access and record care assignments and professional privileges.

  3. Load households

Import a small patient set with contact details, current worker and consent state; inspect duplicate identities.

  4. Rehearse visits

Schedule an encounter, record arrival, observations and a signed note, then review and close it.

  5. Add specialty and finance

Test a specimen, dispensation, charge and household payment when those records are part of the program’s scope.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Community Health Worker App for your business. Pilot a small household list, one care team and a complete visit from scheduling through review and follow-up.

Who prepares the household record?

Clinical Coordinator maintains the household's patient number, contact details, consent state and assigned worker.

How are field visits tracked?

A visit carries its household, assigned worker, visit type, planned date, actual start and end dates, and current state.

Can a clinician record observations?

Licensed Clinician can enter measured observations linked to a visit, including value, unit, observation date and recorded-by person.

How are clinical notes reviewed?

The clinician writes and signs an attributed note linked to the visit. Clinical Reviewer reads the encounter evidence at the review stage. Clinical Coordinator updates the visit state after checking it.

Where is consent kept?

The household has a current consent state. Purpose-specific consent records keep the signed document, version, dates and status.

How do workers see follow-up tasks?

Each action has a household, assignee, title, due date and state. The assigned worker can use My follow-up actions, and the coordinator can review the open queue.

Can the team track specimens?

Specimen records link to visits and include type, collection date, accession number and processing state.

What does a dispensation record contain?

It records medication, lot number, quantity, unit, visit and authorizing person.

How do charges and payments relate?

A service charge links to a visit. A received payment links to a household and retains its amount, reference and state.
