Education campuses
Campus construction work may cover several buildings or trade scopes at the same time. The project record establishes the site, owning organization and project owner. Work packages let the manager separate a defined piece of work so punch items, labor, expenses and closeout tasks remain in the correct scope.

Campus construction work may cover several buildings or trade scopes at the same time. The project record establishes the site, owning organization and project owner. Work packages let the manager separate a defined piece of work so punch items, labor, expenses and closeout tasks remain in the correct scope.
Start with one building refurbishment and a single work package for finish corrections. The superintendent records a damaged door frame, assigns a foreman and attaches a site photo. The foreman adds the hours and billable flag when the work is complete. The inspector checks the correction before submission. If the sign-off check passes, the item becomes Approved with a review decision and a successful operation receipt. If the package association is missing, it stays Submitted and has a Failed receipt for the site team to resolve.
The project manager creates a closeout task under the same package, with an owner, due date and amount. Once it is Approved, the invoice action can move it to Invoiced and leave a receipt. The Owner then follows the payment record by invoice number and due date. The shared work package gives the project team context for the finding, task and collection status.
Choose whether one project covers a building, a contract or a phase before loading existing findings. If a project spans several areas, write the area in the item description so the assigned crew can find it. Reconcile package totals against source time and expense entries before expanding to other buildings. The same check catches entries attached to a neighboring package even when the project name looks correct.
