What you can do

See the work behind the correction

The crew member record holds role, organization, rates, weekly capacity and active status. Labor entries record hours worked on a project and work package. Job expenses record a category, amount, billable flag and receipt reference for the package. These records let the manager inspect the cost and effort behind punch item delivery without losing the connection to the site scope.

The package carries delivery totals, logged hours, costs and remaining hours. The work package delivery desk uses those measures to show where delivered work stands against contract value and where the package may be over budget. It is most useful when the crew records labor and costs against the right package as the work happens.

How the work is organized

  • Crew identity. Team members are linked to an operating organization, role and rate information.
  • Time entry. Labor entries connect work date and hours to the person, project and package.
  • Expense entry. Job expenses connect amount, category and billable intent to the package and team member.

What to agree during setup

Agree who enters time and expenses, who checks them and what a submitted entry means. The saved approval lists make submitted labor and expenses easy to inspect. Rates should be reviewed by the Owner and Project Manager before using delivery margin as a decision input. Choose how receipt UR ls are stored and who can open them. An expense marked billable still needs the correct work package and category to be useful in a project review.

Consider a foreman correcting several lobby defects during one shift. The labor entry records the work date and hours against the lobby package. A replacement material purchase may be entered as a job expense with its receipt URL. The package manager can compare logged hours and expense totals with the package budget, then inspect individual entries when a figure appears unexpected.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Take one labor entry from the submitted list. Confirm that the team member, project and package refer to the same site work and that the hours match the field record. Then take one expense entry, open its receipt reference and check the category and amount. The approving person should have enough context to accept or reject each entry under the team’s policy.

Compare the entries with package totals after review. If the package shows a large hours burn, trace it to work dates and crew members before changing the plan. Where a team member divides a day across packages, verify that each entry points to the correct package. That keeps the delivery desk useful for decisions about remaining work.
