Scheduled business deliveries
Business deliveries often depend on a receiving window and a clear recipient handoff. Dispatcher needs the load's original promise and ordered stops, while Admin maintains the driver and vehicle assignment interval. Transport Supervisor checks feasibility before the team relies on the plan and examines the actual service outcome afterward.
How Courier & Parcel Management is set up for you
Time commitments
Preserve the promised delivery separately from stop arrival and departure. Compare actual delivery with the original commitment so a late result remains visible when the operating plan changes during the day.
Suitable assignments
Check driver eligibility through the whole interval and compare vehicle equipment and capacity with the physical load. Resolve overlapping assignments and open critical defects before dispatch.
Refused service
Keep a partial or refused delivery as an explicit Exception. Retain accepted parcel milestones and recipient evidence so the next action follows the work already performed.

Select a regular delivery run with a known receiving window. Prepare the load, transport partner and ordered pickup and delivery stops. App Administrator checks the resource rosters, Admin prepares the assignment and Dispatcher confirms physical pickup before moving service forward.
Use a delivery promised for 16:00 that reaches the recipient at 16:18. Complete the load with the correct proof reference and actual delivery time, then have Transport Supervisor inspect the late result against the unchanged promise. Auditor should be able to trace that result back to the stop and its evidence.
Repeat the exercise with a recipient who accepts part of the load and refuses the rest. Preserve the accepted parcel events while keeping the load in the exception path. Finish by testing a proof reference from another stop and requiring the mismatch to be resolved. Use [Plan and dispatch](/courier-parcel-management/processes/plan-and-dispatch) and [Complete an evidenced delivery](/courier-parcel-management/processes/complete-an-evidenced-delivery) to prepare the operating team before adding more delivery runs.
