What you can do
Bring the viewing and customer feedback together
A property visit belongs to an opportunity and identifies the property and viewing reservation. Relationship Owner prepares the address, visit time, asking price and feedback before submission. Those details give Sales Manager the context needed to review what occurred during the customer interaction.
The reservation identifies the property, agent and opportunity, with a start, end and expiry. Sales Manager can inspect stored Held and Confirmed reservations in the viewing schedule. Agree the reservation action and its authorization during setup so the selected hold can be used consistently when the visit is prepared.
The visit follows its own lifecycle from Draft to Submitted, then an independent approval, rejection or return. An Approved visit can proceed to Completed through the guarded action. Completing a visit records its operational outcome; the listing state and the customer’s sales outcome remain separate decisions.
How the work is organized
- Viewing context. The selected reservation carries the time window and assigned agent. Its property and opportunity must agree with the visit the owner is preparing.
- Visit submission. Relationship Owner supplies the required address, visit time, asking price and feedback for the current revision. Submission creates an operation receipt and places the visit before the reviewer.
- Independent review. Sales Manager decides the eligible submitted revision through the guarded action. Returned work needs correction before renewed review; completion follows the permitted Approved path.
What to agree during setup
Agree how the brokerage establishes a viewing hold, confirms it and handles expiry. Name the authorized person or connection responsible for that action. Use the organization and agent time zones consistently when interpreting the stored window and the visit time.
Decide what useful visit feedback contains. A note should distinguish the customer’s reaction from the owner’s next task. Agree the meaning and currency basis of the visit’s asking-price entry and how it relates to the listing’s USD asking price. The reviewer should be able to understand the amount discussed without guessing from an unlabeled number.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Prepare a viewing for the townhouse listing and the buyer’s opportunity. Sales Manager inspects the selected reservation’s property, agent and time window. Relationship Owner records the actual visit details and customer feedback, then submits the current visit revision for review.
Try a reservation linked to a different opportunity and a submission missing feedback. Those cases must not become accepted visit evidence. Rehearse a returned visit, correct the draft and request review again. An earlier decision cannot authorize a changed revision merely because the same property was viewed.
Complete the approved visit and inspect its receipt. The opportunity should retain its own commercial stage, while the property listing and reservation remain subject to their separate operating processes. Repeat the visit action to check that its original result remains traceable without another effect.
