Ask Proto about the next task

Ask Proto to help review patient work and prepare the next action.

It can

  • Clinical Coordinator: Find scheduled encounters and open care tasks for the day's work.
  • Licensed Clinician: Bring together an encounter's note and observation context for review.
  • Clinical Reviewer: Show encounters awaiting review and the linked evidence to inspect.
  • Admin: Show draft charges and their encounter references for a person with charge authority to review.

Stays with a person

  • A person checks patient identity, clinical evidence, consent and charge decisions.
  • Proto can prepare a list or draft a summary, but the responsible role reviews the source records and makes the decision.
  • Access still follows the user's role.
  • Ask for a record link when a summary is unclear.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Map the clinic

Identify active clinicians, patient-number rules, visit types and who owns each review decision.

  2. Prepare records

Bring in staff and patient records, then check assignments and consent information.

  3. Configure work

Set the operating views, role access, encounter statuses and charge review practice.

  4. Rehearse a visit

Schedule a consultation, record a note and observation, prepare a charge and assign a follow-up task.

  5. Review the result

Check the same patient and encounter from each role’s view, including an incomplete case that needs correction.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Diet & Nutrition Planner for your business. Begin with a patient register, active clinicians, a representative consultation and the follow-up tasks that team members already perform.

Who schedules a consultation?

The Clinical Coordinator maintains the patient and encounter records, including the scheduled date, clinician and visit type.

Where do clinicians document a visit?

The Licensed Clinician records attributed clinical notes and measured observations against the encounter, then signs the note after review.

How are follow-up actions assigned?

A care task links to the patient and a named assignee. Its due date and status keep unfinished work visible.

Who maintains clinician privileges?

The Clinical Governance Administrator maintains privilege details, verification evidence and effective dates for each clinician.

How is consent recorded?

A consent record names the patient, purpose and version and can hold signed and expiry dates with a document.

How are consultation charges reviewed?

The coordinator records the service and amount against the encounter. Set up Admin charge authority, then have Admin check the draft before marking it approved.

Where are patient receipts recorded?

A payment record holds the patient, received date, amount, reference and status. Confirm the reference before marking the receipt confirmed.

Can the team review open cases?

The encounter and care-task views show work by current status. Clinical Reviewers can inspect the supporting care records.
