How a Document Automation rollout works

Set up matter ownership and review decisions with a representative case.

  1. Establish people and organizations

Add the organization, client counterparties and active team members with their platform users.

  2. Agree decision rights

Assign coordinators and supervising attorneys; rehearse a separate conflict and document review decision.

  3. Prepare matter work

Enter a representative matter with events, a deadline, a document revision and a template version.

  4. Check evidence

Review a returned decision, a production authorization and an operation that needs reconciliation.

  5. Release the working pattern

Confirm ownership, permitted access and the external receipt path before using it for live work.

What the customer provides

Provide the organization details, team assignments, client identifiers and a real example of a matter the team can safely rehearse. Name the legal decision makers and the evidence required for conflict clearance, privilege classification and production. Bring a sample deadline and the expected external confirmation. Choose any file, signing or delivery connections that the process requires.

Changing it afterwards

When a clause, counterparty or document changes, treat the revised content as a new review question. Keep earlier decisions and receipts available to authorized staff. Review role changes and inactive team members before transferring matter ownership. See roles and the data model.
