What you can do
Delivery planning in the operating day
Warehouse Manager coordinates manual routes and stop sequence against accepted orders. A route is the plan; the delivery records actual dispatch, while attempts and results explain what happened at each destination.
The manager checks the assigned operator, coordinator, warehouse, transport reference and stops before route release. Warehouse Operator picks verified stock and records actual dispatch quantity. The accepted order’s title rule determines whether title moves at dispatch or accepted delivery. Each stop records an actual visit and line outcomes so a partial delivery does not look complete.
How the work is organized
- Prepare. Confirm picked quantity, route stops, assigned operator and transport reference.
- Decide. Warehouse Manager approves the route before the operator dispatches verified goods.
- Record. Record each stop attempt and accepted or refused quantity separately.
What to agree during setup
Agree who confirms the load, how stop evidence is recorded and which role handles refused goods. Rehearse a route with a failed stop and a shipment with partial acceptance. Keep transport acknowledgment, physical dispatch and customer acceptance distinct. The unresolved remainder must have an owner at the end of the day.
Check the handoff on an actual case
A route has two dealer stops. The first accepts all cases; the second accepts only part of its shipment and refuses the remainder. Warehouse Operator records the visit and each line result. Warehouse Manager follows the unresolved quantity and arranges the next action without replaying the original dispatch or losing the first stop’s delivery evidence.
At the handoff, the receiving person checks the source record, approval and remaining quantity. The team keeps the exception with its owner until the actual result is recorded.
Before dispatch, Warehouse Operator compares the picked stock with the shipment lines and the route assignment. A released route shows who may make the trip, while the delivery holds the actual departure quantity. At a stop, record the visit separately from each accepted, refused or failed line result. If the second stop is missed, Warehouse Manager can see the unresolved quantity without changing the first stop. Sales Representative follows the revised promise from that result.
What your team sees
- Route release queue — Planned routes waiting for the Warehouse Manager decision.
- Delivery exceptions — Shipments with unresolved delivery outcomes.

What it keeps track of
Data model- Delivery routes
- Manual route/stop sequence and assigned execution; no optimization or live tracking.
- Route stops
- Explicit stable sequence and exact order/shipment ownership.
- Deliveries
- Actual dispatch and title/delivery state separated for partial deliveries.
- Delivery lines
- Actual dispatch quantities and current title-transferred/delivered portions.
- Delivery attempts
- Actual visit/handoff facts, separate from line outcomes and legal title.
- Delivery results
- Each attempt allocates line outcomes once; one visit may partially deliver many lines.
- Pick tasks
- Actual picked quantities remain exclusively tied to the order and do not post COGS.
- Reservations
- Exclusive bounded demand claims through picking and owned transit.
Who uses it
Permissions- Warehouse Manager
- Releases routes and manages exceptions.
