What you can do
Dealer sales in daily work
Sales Representative starts with the dealer account, ordering contact and active price list. A quote retains its product unit, tier price, allocated discount and expiry. The accepted order records the dealer, shipping address, payment terms, original promise and net amount. Sales Manager checks that current revision and the dealer agreement before approving it. Finance Manager handles a credit exception where the review requires one.
How the work is organized
- Price the offer. Sales Representative uses the dealer’s active price list, product unit and terms for each quote line.
- Accept the revision. Sales Manager checks the current order and credit review before deciding; an older decision cannot release a changed order.
- Carry open demand. Each partial allocation leaves the unshipped line quantity and original promise available for follow-up.
What to agree during setup
Agree which dealer accounts, currencies, product units and price lists are active. Set the terms and title rule that will carry onto an accepted order. Sales Manager and Finance Manager should agree who handles an ordinary order and who decides a credit exception.
Rehearse an offer that expires and a revised order whose quantity changes after review. Confirm that the decision follows the current revision. Then reserve only part of an approved line and check that the original promise and remaining commitment remain visible to Sales Representative.
Check the handoff on an actual case
For a dealer ordering several footwear items for different deliveries, keep each accepted line quantity and original promise intact. A partial shipment consumes only its allocated share; the remaining order stays open. A revised promise can be recorded without rewriting the original service commitment. Billing follows title transferred under the order rule.
Sales Representative should compare the accepted line with the allocated shipment and remaining quantity before promising another delivery. Sales Manager must decide any changed commercial scope again. Finance Manager sees a credit exception as a separate decision, and Accountant bills only the portion eligible under the order’s title rule.
