Fulfillment and delivery
Fulfillment and delivery gives the team one place to follow the delivery from its source decision to the next handoff. A dealer expects a mixed furniture shipment across two stops. Warehouse Operator picks the reserved order quantities. Warehouse Manager assigns an operator and releases a route with ordered stops and a transport reference. Warehouse Operator picks only reserved, ready quantity. Warehouse Manager approves the assigned route and stops before dispatch; the operator records each visit and line outcome.

What you can do
How the work is organized
- Preparation. The owner checks entity, source document and current revision before submitting work.
- Decision. Warehouse Operator records the pick and actual visit. Warehouse Manager approves the route with assigned operator, source warehouse and ordered stops.
- Execution. Record the actual quantity or amount against the approved source; retain partial results and linked corrections.
What to agree during setup
Agree the title rule, source warehouse, dispatch evidence, stop windows and who may resolve a failed attempt. The route sequence is a deliberate plan that the coordinator reviews before release. Test a partial result and a changed document before the team relies on this handoff. Keep the approved revision beside the actual result so the next owner can see what remains.
Assign preparation and approval to different people where the decision controls value or stock. Check entity and warehouse scope with each role; finance keeps bank and valuation details within its own access.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Check that picked quantity stays within the verified ready scope. Record dispatch once, then record each actual visit and its accepted, refused, failed or damaged line portions. A partial delivery must leave the remaining quantity visible for follow-up. Have the receiving owner compare the approved scope with actual quantity and unresolved work. Keep the prior decision visible when a case stops or changes.
Retry an already recorded event and check that it does not create a second stock or financial effect. Trace the correction to the original document and explain the remaining quantity to the next owner.
