Kit and gift distributors
Some distributors assemble a defined saleable bundle from existing stocked products before dispatch. The bill of materials gives the component basis, the routing gives the work sequence, and the work order gives the intended output quantity and warehouse. Actual component use, finished output and residual cost remain separate evidence.
How Jewelry ERP is set up for you
Product setup
Warehouse Manager checks the active output product, component quantities, product units and standard cost.
Release
An eligible manager approves the work order against its frozen recipe and routing.
Execution
Warehouse Operator records material issues, returns, good output and scrap as actual work.
Cost review
Finance Manager reviews residual variance before the order is closed.
Some distributors assemble a defined saleable bundle from existing stocked products before dispatch. The bill of materials gives the component basis, the routing gives the work sequence, and the work order gives the intended output quantity and warehouse. Actual component use, finished output and residual cost remain separate evidence.
Choose one stable bundle with an agreed output basis and components that already exist in stock. Rehearse a small work order before extending to other products. Issue part of the reserved material, return unused component quantity and record an operation with good and scrap output. Confirm only the finished quantity that actually enters the chosen location.
A dealer order can point to the output product. Sales should follow the accepted order while the warehouse follows the released production work. Neither should count an intermediate operation as delivered stock. If output is partial, the remaining work and cost stay on the open order. Review the cost entries and standard output value before close.
Agree who owns recipe versions, where assembly occurs and which location receives completed stock. A product change after release should lead to a reviewed successor version rather than silently changing the current work order.
