Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ERP for Logistics for your business. Identify Dispatcher, Transport Manager, Transport Reviewer and Finance Officer for the initial operating scope. Assign Admin for user setup and any warehouse-transfer work included in the pilot.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Bring a customer freight request with a clear lane, weight unit and promised date. Choose a suitable vehicle and driver and prepare the intended stop sequence. Include the recipient proof and paperwork that the reviewer will inspect at delivery.
Agree the billing currency, trip-charge approval owner and accounting handoff. For warehouse work, establish the item unit and both facility codes before preparing a transfer. Use implementation and the data model to establish references in dependency order.
Review before release
Rehearse capture and dispatch, then confirm delivery on the intended trip. Include a repeated customer lane and a disputed proof case. Prepare and approve a trip charge, inspect the posting result and agree how an uncertain response is handled.
For a warehouse transfer, inspect both movement directions and the matching quantity. Resolve an incomplete pair before expanding the operating scope. Review roles and pricing with the people responsible for the handoffs.
