How a Telecom ERP rollout works
Pilot one dealer supply cycle and reconcile every handoff before widening scope.
Set authority
Name the legal entities, currencies, warehouse scopes, approval owners and bounded delegations. Review the posting period and policy versions.
Load masters
Bring in dealer accounts, contacts, suppliers, items, units, price lists, warehouses, locations and opening stock with reviewed identities.
Run a pilot order
Price an offer, approve an accepted order, source a shortage, receive goods, pick, dispatch and record the actual delivery outcome.
Reconcile finance
Approve the eligible invoice, record actual cash, apply it to the intended balance and match the supplier bill to accepted receipts.
Exercise exceptions
Rehearse partial delivery, refusal, return, count variance and a changed order revision before expanding to other entities.
What the customer provides
Provide a representative dealer, active item catalog and unit conversions, current price and tax policy, supplier terms, warehouse locations, opening balances and people authorized to decide exceptions. Identify where bank and carrier evidence will arrive. Keep the original source identifiers for migration reconciliation.
Changing it afterwards
Use reviewed master changes and new document revisions for policy, prices and accepted orders. Keep posted stock and finance history; use linked corrections and reversals when facts change. Review roles and the data model before adding another legal entity or warehouse.
