What you can do
Let the next person inspect the decision
A load can pass between dispatchers, a supervisor and the person checking delivery evidence. Attachments keep a document title, evidence type and uploaded file with the parent load. The uploader and visibility setting help the team understand who supplied the material and how it should be handled. Choose titles that distinguish carrier authority support from delivery proof.
Review decisions retain the parent load, source revision and reviewer, together with a reason. Read those details before relying on a prior approval. A decision for an earlier load revision needs to be interpreted in its original context when the stop plan or carrier offer has changed since the review.
How the work is organized
- Load evidence. The Dispatcher attaches the file or supporting material used for the next operational step. Check its title, evidence type and parent load before handing over the work.
- Visibility choice. Internal and Shared distinguish the intended handling of evidence. Configure access and any external delivery procedure so the document reaches only the people intended to receive it.
- Reviewer judgment. The Transport Supervisor records an independent Approve, Reject or Return decision through guarded actions. The reason explains what supported the judgment or what the Dispatcher must address next.
What to agree during setup
Agree which evidence types the team uses for carrier eligibility, award support and delivery proof. Decide who checks that an attachment contains the material its title describes. A meaningful title does not replace opening the file and confirming that it belongs to the intended load.
Configure the reviewer identity and organization scope before the first award decision. Rehearse independence from the load owner and agree how the source revision is checked when a submitted offer is reviewed. Define which material may be Shared and how a customer or carrier receives it through the chosen connection. Test that arrangement using normal accounts before sending sensitive internal material outside the team.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Attach carrier authority support to the cross-dock load and give it a title the supervisor can recognize. The Dispatcher checks the parent load and visibility. The Transport Supervisor opens the material, identifies the submitted offer and records a decision against the intended load revision under the award procedure.
Ask Auditor to read the authorized decision and explain the source revision and reason without changing the record. Then rehearse an attachment with an unhelpful title or missing file content and resolve it before relying on it as evidence. Finally, record delivery proof against the load and check that a colleague can distinguish that material from the earlier award support when reviewing the movement history.
What your team sees
