What you can do
Outlets in daily work
The outlet reservation holds a restaurant or spa request, its start date, places and the stay it serves. Front Desk Agent can arrange a guest request against the selected stay. Property Manager sees the reservation context and Operations Reviewer reviews the submitted evidence for eligible outcomes.
A service charge records the outlet amount separately from the reservation. The service name and charged date make the item understandable to the guest account team. Finance Officer can prepare a draft, post an eligible charge or void a posted item with the review trail. A restaurant table request and its charge are related, but they are separate records with separate decisions.
How the work is organized
- Outlet request. Record restaurant or spa type and start date.
- Stay link. Attach the request and charge to the intended booking.
- Account trail. Keep draft, posted and voided outlet amounts distinct.
What to agree during setup
Agree how front desk staff identify the correct stay when a guest books a restaurant table or spa visit. Decide who reviews outlet evidence and what makes a charge eligible for posting. If the property uses an outlet reservation or point-of-sale system, establish how its confirmed information enters these records.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Take a checked-in party requesting a spa reservation. Front Desk Agent selects Spa, enters the start date and places, and links the record to that booking. Finance Officer later creates a draft service charge for the service. Operations Reviewer compares the evidence with the booking. The final account includes the amount only after the evidence is approved and the charge is posted; a later void remains visible as a distinct state.
When an outlet request arrives during a stay, the desk should first select the guest’s current booking. The assignment record can then show whether the visit is for a restaurant or spa, when it starts and how many places are requested. An outlet name or staff name in free text cannot replace that booking link. Later, the service charge uses its own service name, date and amount. Finance can distinguish a charge still in draft from one posted to the guest account, while the reviewer checks its source.
